ECI support for Network Rail building renewals projects for six sites including footbridges, platform canopies, station buildings and train sheds. Our role included:

• Independent review of previous assessments and the GRIP 1 remit.
• Initial site walkouts with Network Rail RAM team, Project team and Story.
• Prepared high level summary reports and discussed with Network Rail.
• Identified schemes where an single solution and provide the report to enable progression through PACE 1. Significantly reducing costs compared to the standard GRIP.

Detailing of further surveys, analysis and investigations, stating if an options report is required, to enable Network Rail to budget.

Marske Station footbridge – following review of the previous assessment and a site visit to check condition, it was recommended that strengthening of main span and approach ramps should be carried out. This was discussed and agreed with Network Rail on site, preventing the requirement for further feasibility or options studies.
